Golfers Save BIG TIME on Golf while Supporting a Good Cause

March 22, 2007 - Flowers are blooming and the weather’s improving – sure signs for golfers to spring into savings with the BC Lung Association’s Golf Privilege Club® Membership Book.

“Our membership book saves golfers hundreds of dollars for less than the price of one round of golf. It’s also a great way for golfers to pay less and play more while supporting the Lung Association’s work to improve lung health in British Columbia, says Gary Chapple, President of the BC Lung Association.

For only $35, the membership book entitles golfers to discounts at more than 450 courses across Western Canada and Washington State as well as discount golf travel throughout North America. All proceeds go to BC Lung Association’s various programs and services.

“We want to make sure BC golfers know about this great opportunity to save big time on golf fees, so we’re running an online contest at on our new website,” said Jessa Blades, Events Coordinator for the BC Lung Association.

To enter golfers simply logon to www.golfandsave.ca and submit their name and email for a chance to win a Nike 5-piece Golf Accessory Pack! The winner will be drawn May 1, 2007. Contest entrants must be residents of British Columbia and all entries must be received by May 4, 2007 at 4:30pm.
