Tuberculosis
Tuberculosis (often called TB) is an infectious disease that usually attacks the lungs, but can attack almost any part of the body. Tuberculosis is spread from person to person through the air.
We offer a variety of services free of charge to help, including
- Information resources on tuberculosis.
- Education and professional development seminars. A variety of topics presented throughout the year in British Columbia communities. Speakers use discussion, audio-visual aids and handouts that address tuberculosis warning signs, medication and treatment.
