Climb the Wall: The Stairclimb for Clean Air
The BC Lung Association’s 9th Annual Climb the Wall: the Stairclimb for Clean Air takes place on Sunday, March 21st, 2010!
With over 500 participants taking part in a marathon climb up the 48 flights of stairs at the Sheraton Wall Centre in downtown Vancouver, The Stairclimb for Clean Air is one of Vancouver's most unique fundraising events!
So what is one good reason you should climb the 739 stairs to summit the Wall Centre? How about 6 million reasons - the number of Canadians affected by lung disease.
This March, exercise your right to lung health for those who simply can not.
Lung disease remains the single fastest growing cause of hospitalization, disability and death in Canada today. With your help we can change that fact - help make lung disease history!
To participate in Climb there is a $25 registration fee and each Climber is required to raise a minimum $100. But that’s easy – we’ll be with you every step of the way! When you sign up we’ll give you everything you need to reach out and tap potential donors. You will receive your very own personal webpage to make fundraising easy and convenient!
