A tradition for more than 100 years, Christmas Seals are the Lung Association's largest fundraiser.
The first Christmas Seal in Canada was used in 1908. At that time Christmas Seals were sold to help fight tuberculosis. With this disease under relative control, provincial Lung Associations now send Christmas Seals to Lung Association supporters in wintertime, many of whom make donations to help prevent and control lung disease.
