The average Canadian spends 90% of his or her time indoors. Unfortunately, studies show that Canadians are often exposed to higher levels of air pollution inside their homes than outside. High levels of rainfall in British Columbia make our indoor environments prone to increased levels of humidity which can lead to mould growth. Indoor moulds are particularly common in well-insulated houses where there is little circulation of air and escape of moisture. To learn more about moulds, watch this 12 minute video produced by the Northwest Clean Air Agency.
