BC air monitoring data

Air quality is measured by the level of pollutants in the air. But what affects air quality? Factors include the type and amount of pollutants released into the air as well as weather conditions (such as wind speed, precipitation and temperature) and local topography (such as nearby mountains) that influence how quickly pollutants are mixed in the air.

Get up-to-date information about your local air quality by consulting the following websites: Lower Fraser Valley Air Quality Index Reporting System (GVRD/Fraser Valley Region) or the BC government's air quality monitoring site (all of BC).
